Dear Team,
I want to start my new propitiatory firm, but the banks are asking for GST and Shops and Establishment License. Which i do not have and neither the same is applicable. Please suggest and help

Hi,
You are not required to register for GST if your turnover is less then INR 20 lakhs or if you are a new business.
You shall be able to open a current account with your PAN number and address proof.
You may obtain a formal communication from the bank regarding the requirement of GSTIN for new business and file a grievance at GST common portal here – https://services.gst.gov.in/services/grievance
